Yayasan MR D.I.Y. has announced a strategic partnership with Yayasan PETRONAS and PETRONAS’ Education and Human Capital Investment Unit to advance Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) education while nurturing a skilled, future-ready workforce.
The collaboration brings together key initiatives, including Karnival Kerjaya STEM and the Program Duta Guru (PDG), in line with the aspirations of the Rancangan Pendidikan Malaysia 2026–2035, underscoring the importance of increasing student participation in STEM to meet the demands of a rapidly evolving economy.

Central to this initiative is Yayasan MR D.I.Y.’s “STEM Discovery on Wheels” programme, which brings interactive and experiential STEM learning opportunities to students nationwide. Through this collaboration, the foundation has also contributed 950 STEM kits aimed at inspiring curiosity while making learning more engaging, accessible and hands-on for young learners.
This collaboration also supports educators through the Yayasan PETRONAS’ Program Duta Guru by integrating specialised resources and tools that enhance the delivery of impactful STEM instruction in classrooms. In addition, the Karnival Kerjaya STEM provides students with exposure to technical and vocational pathways, helping them better understand future career opportunities and equipping them with the skills needed to thrive.
In 2025 alone, Yayasan MR D.I.Y.’s outreach efforts reached nearly 400,000 beneficiaries nationwide. This latest collaboration with PETRONAS further strengthens the Foundation’s commitment to creating meaningful, sustainable impact by nurturing a resilient, skilled and innovation-driven generation.
