The results of the 2025 Malaysian Certificate of Education examination will be released on March 31, according to the Ministry of Education Malaysia.
In a statement, the ministry said a total of 413,299 candidates had registered to sit for the examination, which was conducted at 3,350 examination centres nationwide.
School candidates will be able to collect their results from their respective schools beginning at 10 am on the announcement day.
Meanwhile, private candidates may obtain their results by contacting the State Education Department where they registered for the examination.
The ministry also urged schools to ensure the distribution of the SPM 2025 results is carried out efficiently and in an orderly manner to facilitate a smooth process for candidates.
Apart from collecting results at schools or through the relevant education departments, candidates will also be able to check their results online through the official portal at myresultspm.moe.gov.my.
The online system will be accessible starting at 10 am on March 31 and will remain available until 6 pm on April 6, allowing candidates ample time to obtain their examination slips.
In addition, the results can also be checked via the Short Message Service (SMS). Candidates can do so by typing SPM Identity Card Number Examination Number and sending the message to 15888.
The SMS service will be activated at the same time as the online portal, beginning at 10 am on March 31 and remaining active until 6 pm on April 6.
In the same statement, the ministry extended its congratulations to all candidates who sat for the 2025 examination and expressed hope that their achievements would serve as a stepping stone for continued success in the future.
