Additionally, the practical segment of the workshop will focus on using WordPress, where participants will design and build their own websites. Additionally, Exabytes is providing a free one-year domain contract for the participants’ websites, hosting, and virtual private server (VPS) under the Digitalise Penang Programme to help them launch their online projects.

“We want to nurture a tech-savvy generation equipped with valuable skills that can help them survive and thrive in the ever-expanding digital age. Exabytes TechCamp is our way of opening doors and creating access to the fundamentals. For us, it is important to build the kids’ confidence in their abilities and allow them to discover the skills to bring their ideas to life with technology. We hope that by the end of the workshop, the students will walk away with a newfound love for web development and creating,” said Kee Siak Chan, Founder and CEO of Exabytes.
